Special Flower Habits

We are all creatures of habit. And we’re all special little flowers, unique in our own way.

It is highly improbable that your special flower habits are going to jive with any other person’s special flower habits. This, by the way, is the story of all relationships at the core—either you figure this out and build one or you don’t and go your separate ways.

The issue is that in a company of three, you’re now navigating seven relationships. A company of four is more than 21. I’m not good enough at math to go beyond that—you get the point.

If your approach to team operations is “we do what works”, you’re likely doing what works for you and everyone else is doing what works for them. You’ll be able to gut this out for a while, but at a certain point the cracks will appear and things won’t work like they did before. This is the point at which you need to get serious about defining what works for your team.

I help growing organizations remove blockers to collaboration and scale. I’ve built flexible structures for my own teams and helped many others do the same, from small startups to Fortune 50 goliaths. What are you and your team experiencing? Let's talk.
